Urban Mess

Urban Mess is a series of semi-abstract photographs that celebrate a cluttering of city structure and space. It documents a unique and yet typical perspective of a metropolis where its beauty lies within its mess. Bangkok, a complicated concrete jungle, inspires my journey to observing the city’s constructive mess in a form of art via repetitive patterns, saturated colours and geometrical shapes. These interpreted elements may not give any impression through an absolute control of compositions, but they always mean something when empathising towards one another.

ชุดภาพถ่ายกึ่งนามธรรม ‘เออเบิร์น เมส’ สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงเสน่ห์ของความวุ่นวายและความยุ่งเหยิงในอีกหนึ่งมุมมองที่อาจดูแปลกตา แต่ยังคงรักษาความเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของเมืองหลวงผ่านความงดงามที่พรางซ่อนอยู่ในความรกรุงรัง กรุงเทพ ฯ ป่าคอนกรีตที่สลับซับซ้อนเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการบันทึกความยุ่งเหยิง ผ่านภาพถ่ายเชิงศิลปะ ที่เต็มไปด้วยสีสันและลวดลายต่าง ๆ  แม้ว่าสิ่งเหล่านี้อาจไม่สื่อถึงความรู้สึกหรือแนวคิดที่ชัดเจนผ่านวิธีการจัดองค์ประกอบของภาพ แต่ยังคงมีความหมายที่แอบแฝงอยู่เมื่อนำภาพเหล่านี้มาเชื่อมโย่งเนื้อหาอย่างสร้างสรรค์
